United Kingdom refuses to relaunch mobility programme with European Union

22/04/24 (Agence Europe) – On Saturday 20 April, the United Kingdom reportedly rejected the European Commission’s proposal to reactivate the mobility of young people between the EU and the UK, which has been thrown into disarray by Brexit. The recommendation published 2 days earlier (see EUROPE B13394A25) envisaged an agreement allowing young people aged between 18 and 30 from both regions to stay for up to 4 years in the host country.
